Why Join ACM
- One of the simplest and best ways to distinguish yourself from others when it comes time to find a job or internship is to belong to professional organizations
- For the computational sciences, two organizations have international stature: the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)
- Here at Lewis, we are involved with a chapter in the ACM. Joining ACM as a student would give you a number of benefits. For only $19 / year, you will gain access to ACM's online library of technical resources,
as well as a host of other benefits. You'll also take advantage of the prestige that comes with belonging to a professional organization
